“Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:29-33
DECEMBER IS THE MONTH FOR REFLECTION. This past month we ministered on 10 occasions. Groups as large as 150 inmates at Calico Rock and as small as a very few seniors at Good Samaritan Village. Churches of 7 different denominations. Sessions as short as 10 minutes and as long as an hour. It was a wonderful month filled with all the blessings of God. This past year we have seen our ministry grow “exceedingly, abundantly” beyond all of our expectations.
We have walked down the path that God has laid before us and he has provided!! A year ago we had our doubts. We prayed daily for God to show us His will, to open doors and then help us to discern the doors to go through and those to avoid. We have prayed for good counsel. We have prayed for spiritual support. We have prayed for courage, faith, acceptance. But mostly we have prayed that God would allow us to serve Him, to be a vessel that reflects His light so that others can see His hand in our ministry and to Him be all the Glory. AND HE HAS ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS IN EVERY WAY!!! He has given us more, much more, than we ever imagined or hoped for.
AND AS WE CLOSE OUT THIS YEAR we want to thank each of you for your support… your prayers… your words of encouragement. We want to thank each of you for the love that you have shown us.
AND FOR THE COMING YEAR we ask you to please keep us in your prayers as we keep you in ours. We pray that your support will continue and allow us to expand into new areas of our ministry as God leads. We pray that He will bless you “exceedingly, abundantly” beyond all that you could ask. We pray that He will give you the peace and comfort that only comes from Him and that He will shower you and your families with His grace and love.
